How to Read Structure Alerts

Structure alerts are not trade instructions. They use consistent PCS, CCS, short-term reached, and invalidation labels so you can understand risk location faster.

How to read chart labels

PCS

PCS: a lower / support-side structural context being monitored by the model, e.g. PCS 7,125. It is a structural observation, not a buy, entry, or put-spread recommendation.

CCS

CCS: an upper / resistance-side structural context being monitored by the model, e.g. CCS 7,205. It is a structural observation, not a sell, entry, or call-spread recommendation.

Reached

Short-Term Reached: a previous short-term PCS or CCS observation has met review conditions, such as a reference area being touched. It is for chart review only, not take-profit, close, or any trading instruction.

Invalid

Invalidated: a previous PCS, CCS, short-term PCS/CCS, or IC observation premise may no longer hold. It is a risk-review alert, not a close, sell, or trading instruction.

PCS, CCS, and “Start / Short-Term…” badges

These words appear on AI Live / structure-reminder card titles. They describe observation phase and side (up / down / range) only—not orders to buy, sell, add, reduce, or close.

PCS: Abbreviation for a Put Credit Spread (short put vertical) framing — alerts emphasize the lower / support-side structural context. Cards and charts now use PCS directly.

CCS: Abbreviation for a Call Credit Spread (short call vertical) framing — alerts emphasize the upper / resistance-side context. Cards and charts now use CCS directly.

IC: Iron Condor range structure — observes both upper and lower bounds. Titles use IC Start / Reached / Invalidated (no “short-term” prefix).

Start: Marks the start of a new structural observation window — not an entry or order instruction.Short-Term Start: Same as Start on short-term/trend-style models; emphasizes shorter observation horizon, still not an instruction.Short-Term Reached: A short-term reference path has met internal review conditions (e.g. level touched). For chart review only — not take-profit or forced exit language.Invalidated: May appear on PCS, CCS, short-term PCS/CCS, or Iron Condor (IC) titles when the observation premise may no longer hold — reassess risk. Not a stop-loss or order command from the system.

Levels and model structure

How labels are used: PCS / CCS / Short-Term Reached / Invalidated are structural observation states, not direct trade instructions. The system combines GEX distribution, price location, volatility, and model rules to form these alerts.

Model structure note: Some models borrow risk-boundary ideas from Vertical Spreads and Iron Condors to describe structural ranges, reference width, and risk changes. Parameters such as wing width are selected automatically from real-time GEX structure and volatility, and do not constitute options trading advice.Read the options strategy article

Risk control and exit reference

Stop-loss reference
A common reference is to use 50% of margin (max risk) as a stop trigger. For example, if a spread uses $200 premium and $2,000 margin, a roughly $1,000 floating loss may trigger the stop logic. This is a common reference and should be adjusted to personal risk tolerance.
Exit alert
When GEX structure conditions change, such as support breaking or resistance disappearing, the system may push a structure-review alert to help you review risk exposure. The alert is a structural observation only, not a trading instruction.
Risk notice
Options spread models involve risk of principal loss. Narrower wings can increase leverage effects. Make decisions only after understanding the structure and maximum loss. All alerts and analysis are informational references only, not investment advice or return promises.
